General Information on Unismart

Unismart is the exclusive school outfitters to many schools in the county of Surrey. The company has retail outlets in Cobham (Head Office) and Ashtead. Both shops are in the main High Streets.

Unismart’s owner, Sally Smith, ensures that the schools’ wishes appertaining to uniform are constantly reviewed. Personal meetings with Headmasters and Headmistresses have enabled a personal relationship to exist between the relevant school and the Company.

Unismart has now decided to add online shopping as part of its services to its ever-growing list of customers. Unismart.co.uk now gives anyone the opportunity to buy items of school uniform, sportswear and certain fashion items here online within a safe environment.


Unlike the majority of online shopping sites, the customer can, if they wish, have direct contact with Unismart’s trained staff or indeed, directly with the owner, Sally Smith. There is no need for an online purchaser to be frustrated or perplexed by buying online via Unismart. There are no automatic blocks on e-mail enquiries, the customer has immediacy of contact if they so wish, and will be confident in the knowledge that they can communicate with a REAL, LIVE PERSON.

 

Delivery Promises

Unismart holds most items in stock. These will be despatched to you within 3 working days from receiving your order. If an item is out of stock because of an unusually high demand, we will e-mail you immediately giving you a revised delivery date or the option to cancel.


Postage & Packaging

P&P is added automatically at the stage you confirm your order. The amount will vary according to the weight of your purchases – this will be charged at the standard postal rate.

For security reasons we can only deliver to the cardholder/account holder’s address. Customer’s within the mainland United Kingdom will received their items by Standard Delivery usually within 2-4 working dates if said items are in stock.


Product Availability

Unismart regularly updates the site to ensure that accurate details are relevant regarding product availability. Orders placed after 5pm in the evening will be dealt with the next working day (excluding Sundays.)

If you are placing an especially high value order (by way of example, from a country outside the UK) we reserve the right to contact you for further confirmation of your order details.


Payment

  • All payments are secure using our shopping system over the Internet.

  • All credit card numbers are coded in the software when you place your order using 128 bit encryption.  

  • These numbers are only decoded after they reach our computer. At no time are your details held in clear text on any website.

We accept the following Credit Cards:

  • Visa

  • Master Card

  • Switch

 

Your card will not be debited until your order is ready for dispatch.

If you choose to pay by cheque, we are able to take your order over the phone at either of our branches, and we will dispatch your order when the cheque has been cleared. Please send cheques/postal orders, payable to Unismart Ltd., to Unismart Ltd., 4, Oakdene Parade, High Street, Cobham, Surrey. KT11 2LR. Please write your order number, name and address on the back of the cheque plus your card number.

Exchange & Returns Policy – Guarantee

We are confident that you will be happy with your purchase. However, in the unlikely event that you are totally unsatisfied for any reason , please return said item for exchange or for the refund of the purchase price within 7 days. The item must be unworn and with labels still intact.
 

To clarify this point, unless the purchase is faulty, goods must be returned in a saleable condition. If we have made an error, your delivery charges will also be refunded to you.
 

If the item is damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receipt by telephoning either of our retail outlets (numbers as shown above). The returned product should be sent to our Head Office, Unismart Ltd., 4, Oakdene Parade, High Street, Cobham, Surrey. KT11 2LR.

When returning an item, please remember to include your name, address, and a telephone number inside the package. We will also need to know whether you want a replacement or a refund. You will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach our Head Office so please ensure you are in possession of proof of postage.
 

To assist you, the customer, we would like to point out that should the package be lost in transit, you will be responsible for making a claim from Royal Mail. The compensation is currently limited to £26.00 Sterling. It is suggested that you may wish to consider using a Recorded Delivery Service should the value of the goods being returned be greater than £26.00.
 

With regards to lost goods, if you have not received your item/s within 15 days of making an order, please contact Head Office on 01932 868233 and we will look into the matter and notify you accordingly.


Complaints Procedure

Our customers are important to us; we value your satisfaction highly. Our aim is to deal with any queries or problems swiftly and fairly. We will:

  • Monitor all such complains and take account of all suggestions so that we can identify what may be wrong and immediately take measures to put it right.

  • Use a system that is simple to understand and use, which will have established time limits for any action undertaken.

  • Keep all our customers informed of progress in dealing with any complaints.

  •  Will investigate any such relevant matter whilst maintaining the confidentiality of both the Unismart staff and the individual customer.

  •  Constantly review all services provided to customers so that such services can be improved as and when necessary.

We will reply to your letter within 7 working days or make direct telephone contact to explain what action we intend to take to resolve, to your satisfaction, the complaint.

 

Errors & Omissions

Unismart make every effort to ensure that all the information on our site is accurate and up to date. The site is reviewed on a regular basis and we will promptly correct any errors brought to our attention. You will help us to help you by bringing to our attention any error that you may note whilst using this site. If you find an error, please contact our head office via e-mail to unismartltd@aol.com

Unismart can accept no responsibility for information or opinions from third parties contained within this site, or for the content of links from this site.


The photographs used to advertise individual items are for illustration only. Should there be an error in the description or price of goods shown on the site, Unismart reserves the right to supply goods at the correct price. Unismart will notify you by e-mail before any order is processed. Unismart, being aware of the proliferation of credit card fraud, reserve the right to decline any order.
 

Specification and product descriptions are for the customers’ guidance only and cannot be guaranteed as accurate. Errors and omissions accepted.
 

We reserve the right to withdraw any items from sale, at any point prior to dispatch, for whatever reason.  You will be informed promptly if such a situation arises.

 

The customer should note that we do not debit your card until the order is dispatched, and it is at this point that our contract with you commences.
